Yesterday we glimpsed our daughter for the first time.
A tiny dancer who never once held still.
Her sweet face looked so much like her brother Jude. And her Daddy. Time will tell.
Not even a pound, yet already trying to suck her thumb, her body perfectly formed.
So intricate. And beautiful. And perfect.
She has stolen my heart.
I am in love. In awe.
It grows with each child.
"Are you crazy?!" they ask me.
But I think it is they who are crazy, for I have discovered the blessings of a full quiver and all the joy it brings.
And though it is just the beginning...already my heart could burst.

s'more
of little miss thang
I literally had hundreds of beautiful shots to choose from.
I could have edited almost everything from this session...
My lovely daughter...

I could have edited almost everything from this session...
My lovely daughter...
She makes life so much fun!
This shoot included a ballet recital, snow white reenactment (complete with poison apple and gruesome death scene), picking 'poison berries', and hundreds of never before seen comical expressions. If I didn't know better, I'd say she had ants in her pants, because she never sat still for longer than 2.3 seconds...She is a riot!

the wonder of it all
she is five
a magical age
with boundless imagination
endless wonder
and an entire world to discover
"It's like I'm looking at the face of God..." she says as she gazes at the sky.
This year has opened up a whole new world books. She can't read them quite yet, but she pours over them for hours, looking at the pictures and copying entire pages as gifts for Mama. And she loves to have them read to her. Her favorites; The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Milly Molly Mandy.
