I can't begin to tell you what a blessing this girl is to me each day.

She is quite the little helper.

Aunt Crystal taught the preschool class today.

They each got a "nail-print" in their hand with their name written above it to remind them that Jesus died for them. They also got to taste bread soaked in vinegar.

I heard through the grapevine that one didn't go over so well. (:

I am so thankful for the wonderful family my children have.

They share the love of Christ with my babies on a daily basis in many, many ways.

Be still, my heart. He looks so much like his daddy...

gotta love the ear. He insists on wearing this hat with his ear folded over.

And gets mad at Mama when she tries to "fix" it.

Let's just say, he was a tad upset about finding only 2 eggs in the hunt.

Remember: this is the boy who wouldn't be in the church play a few years ago because he couldn't be a black sheep. (;

This year we got to spend Easter at Grandma Colene and Papa Dale's house.

(after Easter baskets, church brunch, and worship service;)

Even though Papa was in the hospital earlier this week with heart problems

and Grandma is battling a sinus infection. She insisted we all come.

Which is no surprise if you know my Grandam, at all.

It was a relaxing day with my side of the family and I even had time to do a few portraits of the kids in their Easter Best! Yay! Be prepared for a photo overload...

He knows this is extra funny because it's Easter.

I do love this boy!

I couldn't pick a favorite...he is so handsome and such a model.

That tooth is going to fall out any day!

With 5 birthdays in the immediate family plus Easter,

all in the same week, we've taken to calling this week in April "2nd christmas".

Jude and Gwyneth decided all on their own that they wanted a rainbow party this year.

Mama was happy to oblige.

I mean, have you seen all the cute ideas floating around the Internet lately?

Love how the cake looks like a big fluffy cloud. With it's own pot of gold, of course(;

Yes. We spent an entire afternoon baking that cake.

Layer.

After layer.

After glorious layer.

There were no miss-haps.

I think mostly do to the fact that i laced my hot cocoa with some schnapps.

Inez slept like a dream (:

I sure hope we there were no fatalities with all that food coloring.

The drinks turned into a muddy looking mess shortly after i took the photos.

But that's okay. Rain might make rainbows.

But it also equals mud.

As we were so rudely reminded of during the grandparents' party when this happened just down the road. Let's just say that party came to a very abrupt end!

The door bell rang just as I snapped this shot.

Time to party!
