I used to wonder what I'd ever do with a boy.
Now I wonder how I could have ever been so foolish?
These boys save me every day.
They fill our home with laughter and fun and wrestling and running and jumping and energy,
and so much more that only a boy can give.
And I love them for it.

I cannot believe he's going to be 5 next month!
Time flies.
And so can he.

Dress-up is still the biggest pastime around this house.
And a superman costume is high on the list of wishes.

This shoot was pure torture for them.
All 30 seconds of it.
But I love that we captured them with their beloved teddies.
And I love these boys, even if I am the newest member on their list of evil villans.

I am filled with a contentment that makes me believe she will be our last.

My heart sings at the thought of her.
My arms never tire of holding her.
She fills our home with joy.
She is our lovely addition.
And God's promise to me.


I ache as each moment passes,
never to be reclaimed.
