dearest friends

wonderful crafts
heartfelt valentines
yummy food
beautiful decorations

and the sweetest memories

Sweet memories from this year:
On the way to the church the kids kept saying,
"This is such a fun day!"
Each of my kids were so big and really helped set everything up.
The boys made arrows and the girls made bubblegum necklaces.
Camden was the very first to win BINGO.
Jude was one of the very last, and not too happy about it.
The big kids each chose a little to team up with and help throughout the day.
Kaly chose Gwyneth. It made her whole day.
Malcom paired up with Jude. Kaelon with Camden.
Kaly came running up to me at the end of the party telling me that Gwyneth was choking.
I looked across the room to see her bright red and gasping for air, tears streaming down her face. By the time I got there she was okay. The buddy system works!
Jude got in trouble in the buffet line (and sent to his seat) because he missed the instruction to choose only one or two things. Poor guy. He loves his food.
When I asked on the way home what their very favorite part was Gwyneth squealed;
"ALL of it!"

{of coarse, with more than 40 kids, we never have time to take photos during the event
so these detail shots will have to do. Maybe next year the kids will let me include them!}

Kaly said "Gwyneth was sooo cute, she burst out of her comfort zone and wanted to play a game with me! I think they will be friends for life.

Fun was had by all. I love that we are able to put these events together without a ton of stress on any one of us. You are all the best!

I have a few shots of the stuff there.. but you know how dark it is..
i did get Gretta with her necklace and Gwyn held a arrow for me!

I can't believe she was choking.... missed that! Way to go Kaly!

I do realize the tables were a bit of an issue for you and Heidi! ;)

Not too bad for me, I didn't have to wash tablecloths! ;)

It was fun but I am so mad that I didn't one picture of anything! Not even my own kids at home. Wait! I did take pictures of them decorating their boxes. Whew. I thought I didn't even have one.

We enjoyed it but next year I am going to plan Waaaaaay ahead. I'm so tired of constantly being behind on everything.

It was so fun.
We are truely blessed to have so many great homeschool friends, aren't we?!!
The decor was perfect, the craft was adorable, the game is loved by each kid, and such a great time had.
Team effort is the way to go with these sorts of things!
Girls, we rock! ;)
