that she and all of her {girl} cousins were beautiful princesses
and each had their own prince charming to dance with at the ball.
She had been Ariel and danced with Caleb
Kira was Sleeping Beauty and danced with Jude
Ava was Cinderella and danced with Preston
Gretta was Snow White and danced with Rowan
and McKenna was dancing with Adam
Then the girls left the boys to go eat cake. (;
She has been waiting all week for Kenna, Ava and Gretta
to come for their sleepover so she can re-live her dream.
Her excitement was contagious.
Each girl painstakingly chose the perfect dress and all the accessories
and carefully layed them out in anticipation for the big event.
(really, this was all them, they were not coerced!)
Ava

Gretta

Gwyneth

They waited patiently through quiet time.
Then the ring leader...ahem...Gwyneth, styled each girl's hair
and showed them how to apply sparkle eye shadow.
As every girl knows, it must reach the eyebrows, and beyond.

Thankfully they had a knight in shining armor
who gallantly offered to dance with each maiden attending.
And one can't have a ball without a pet lion.
(Camden is still on his 'big cat' kick after watching the National Geographic special)
Kenna was the true Cinderella and gave up the ball to watch Adah for me.
because, as every girl also knows,
clothes really are more fun than boys. (;
And who needs dancing when you have sparkle eye shadow...
and cake!

Awwww.....
How cute!
very cute! I miss the days of the girls dressing up like princesses.
Wish I had seen this while I was gone! The phone dies so fast down there!
Thank you so much for having them over! They looked forward to it for weeks...
I can see it was probably even more fun than they imagined!
(you'll have to get these pics to me sometime!)
