Surprise!
Or not…
For those of you who haven’t heard the news yet...
We are expecting again!
And we are overjoyed.
This Bebe should be here sometime in early June. And even though I’ll probably not make it that long I’ve decided to call this little one our “June Bug” until it makes an appearance, as I am determined to save the surprise until I can hold it in my arms and see for myself whether it be boy or girl.
This is a large leap of faith for us and we are trusting that God will provide for the many needs that are a result of welcoming this baby into our world. I know we are loved and taken care of and I can honestly say that I’m not the least bit anxious. God has burdened my heart deeply to have this child. And I am convicted. The excuses I could give for not having another child are petty and selfish and cannot begin to compare to the joy of a brand new soul and the hope of sharing eternity with it.
I thank God for this new life and cannot wait to meet another one of my babies...

I can't wait to see her/him! It's hard for me to place how this child will look... but when we see the babe we won't be able to think of life without... so excited! God will supply all you NEEDS one way or another, I'm glad to hear you're not worried, it will all work out!

We can't be happier for you! So exciting! Someone at church(who knew better) said yesterday here's all the Becks!... I laughed and said not even close! It got me to wondering how big our extended family would be someday!?

To my shame, I have done the "excuse" thing before. Most of them are extremely lame when I compare to the eternal significance of obedience to God's leading. Little ones are such a BLESSING, too. And when I am totally honest and not being all about "me" it is crystal clear that they aren't even really "my" kids. Just on loan from God for a short time. What a priviledge!

i wasn't at all surprised when Lyle told me...but i overheard you say something that got my attention, and knew that you guys were going to be expecting in the near future...
congratulations...that would be funny if it was a boy...another beck family reproduced!
