Camden: I can't wait to die on a cross and go to Heaven!
Mama: Sweetie, you don't have to die on a cross to go to Heaven. Jesus loves you so much that he already did it for you. All he wants is for you to love him with all your heart, and then you'll go to Heaven someday and live with Jesus forever.
Camden: I know that! But I just love Jesus sooo much that I want to die on a cross for him.
Now, I'd say that's loving Jesus with all your heart...
My babies continue to teach me new things each and every day.

It's amazing how children make it so simple. That is one of the most humbling things I have ever heard...if we could love like a child!

I love it! Out of the mouth of babes. The other day I was on my way home with Mattea from ballet. She asked about our elderly neighbor who had recently passed away. I reminded her that he had died. She was quiet a moment and then let out this big (but sweet) laugh. My first thought was what a morbid child she is! Then she follows it up with "That is so AWESOME! Mr.James is in HEAVEN with JESUS! Mommy, I'm so HAPPY for him. I can't wait until I can be with Jesus in Heaven too. Oh, Mommy, Mr. James must be so happy to finally be with his Jesus."
Yeah..did I feel guilty for my ugly thoughts. My husband mentioned that that is what are view of death should really be. He's right! Our babies are so special!
