tuesday

1.This week's choice phrase?
"Prepare to die!" Initiated by, who else?... Gwyneth.
Camden took off with it yesterday. His twist?
"Prepare to be born!" In a voice oozing of gloom and doom.

2. "There's no time to spare!" comes in as a close second.
You guessed it; Gwyneth again.

3. My oldest daughter is a firecracker, to say the least.
I'm having trouble knowing where to draw the line. I can't discipline her every time she opens her mouth. She is all fire and spirit, remove that and she is no longer Gwyneth. But how do I channel it towards something other than her own detriment? And does it make me a horrible Mama that this instantly made me think of her? I want to get it for her room. Bad Mama.

4. Haven't seen much of Daddy these days. He is always working, even when he's home. Wouldn't be soooo bad if we got some kind of compensation for it. ($$$) But no, he's on salary. I get grumpy when I don't see my Lyle. And when I have the kids 24/7. Anyone want to know what it's like to have absolutely no free time? No, you don't, I promise. But at the end of my life I'll have been much better off with too little free time than too much, right? (: I get bored easily, anyway. And I do like a challenge.

5. I hate our bed. If we had carpet I'd be sleeping on the floor. It wasn't so bad when we had the feather top on it, but Gwyneth was mad at me and peed all over it when she was in time out a couple of weeks ago. They won't even deal with it at the cleaners. They said we'd have to do it ourselves in one of their big machines and then spend the day there trying to get it dry. Lovely. Who has an entire day to sit at the cleaners? Certainly not a mama toting four little rascals. I wake up every morning (assuming I was actually able to fall asleep in the first place) feeling like I got hit by a car. Grrr.

6. Adah is my best eater yet. Now, those of you who have seen my kids eat know that's saying a lot. An awful lot! I think she sometimes out eats them now. How are we ever gonna afford feeding teenagers?

7. I want to adopt. I've always wanted to, but Lyle has always been against it. Until now.

8. Like I said no free time...

gotta go!
